Description
Islington Council - Community Wealth Building has a number of sites across the corporate estate with Building management Systems (BMS) systems managed by various suppliers. There will be benefits to the cost of managing BMS servicing and repair by using a single contractor. With more accurate oversight and visibility of controls and sensors it will be possible to reduce energy consumption and still keep a high level of thermal comfort for staff and residents.Potential to be more responsive to plant controls resulting in greater plant efficiency while reducing unnecessary use of energy. The financial benefits should materialise when the service starts to identify where energy performance can be improved and when plant is left in manual mode or is operating inefficiently
