Spaceflight Safety Systems Regulatory Support

The Contracting Authority will be the regulator of space launches from the UK and associated operations when the Space Industry Act comes into force in the 2020 timeframe. The Contracting Authority is developing a regulatory framework to support this challenging timeframe and requires innovative processes, tools and procedures to assess the end-to-end management of safety of these space launches and operations in the UK.

The Contracting Authority requires specialist services from the Supplier, who will support the development of analysis techniques and the Contracting Authority's regulators enforcement and compliance obligations.
