For the provision of training and education for pharmacy professionals across England, this contract ensures uninterrupted delivery by directly awarding the current provider. This prevents disruptions to patient care and workforce development while ensuring NHSE meets its obligations under key frameworks, including the Community Pharmacy Contractual Framework (CPCF), Network Contract Direct Enhanced Service (DES), Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), and Section 63 of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968. As training is a mandatory requirement for registration, failing to provide accessible education would put professionals at risk of losing their registration.
