Work description

To undertake the removal and disposal of approximately 30,000T of illegally deposited waste from Hoad's Wood, Ashford, Kent. The Contractor shall: Prepare all necessary documentation for undertaking the works and review and update these as appropriate. Establish, maintain and remove site facilities to accommodate the works, and Test, remove and dispose of all waste material from Hoad's Wood to appropriately permitted facilities, including supply of all waste transfer documentation.

Further Award Information The contract's initial term will be the first Accepted Programme as per Clause 31.2 of the ECC as agreed with the successful tenderer. The Authority may extend the contract for up to a maximum of 60 months to enable completion of the contract should this become necessary. Possible reasons for compensation events are listed in Clause 60.1 of the ECC. Their are wide ranging and cover many scenarios which could result in a change to the contract's Target Price (ECC Option C) or Completion Date (which may result in an extension being required). Therefore, due to the ECC Conditions of the Contract the total contract term and or contract price cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to modification. £7,454,564.13 (Target Price) £15,000,000.00 (Total budget allocated to account for potential compensation events)
