Work description
The Authority has a requirement for the initial supply of 275 rechargeable hand lamps or torches with vehicle mountable charging cradles. Delivery is to be effected over the initial Contract period of thirty-six (36) to allow fitting to Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) vehicles. The Authority would like headlamps supplied in seven batches of 40 as follows:
40 in months 1, 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 and the final 35 in month 36 of the Contract.
The Authority also wishes to include the option to purchase additional quantities, replacement units and have repairs carried out as and when required.
The Term of the contract to be awarded is for three (3) years with the option to extend for up to an additional twelve (12) months, for a total maximum of four (4) years.
The contract is expected to commence 2nd July 2021
