Contract Variation: National Policy Statement - Appraisal of Sustainability & Habitats Regulations Assessment

Description

A contract variation is required to cover the expanded scope and costs of the Appraisal of Sustainability (AoS) and Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) for an additional National Policy Statement (NPS). Both assessments, previously undertaken for the NPS on Nuclear Energy Generation (EN-7), are statutory requirements that now apply to the NPS on Fusion Energy (EN-8) as well. For this reason, additional work is required from the contract, without extending its duration. This is linked to Find a Tender Notice 2023-041424.
