BBC Audiences Review 2023 - A deep dive on DE audience groups

Ofcom has a requirement for a piece of qualitative research on BBC audiences from lower social-economic backgrounds. The overall objective of this piece of research are to better understand the DE socio-economic groups and their relationship to the BBC. In the past we have faced challenges in providing a reader-friendly definition of this group and we hope this work will help provide a clearer picture of the different characteristics that make-up this highly diverse grouping.
