Active Travel Officer for Wokingham Borough Council

Wokingham Borough Council is inviting tenders for the provision of an Active Travel Officer. The role will build on the success of the My Journey Wokingham project; a £4.1m programme funded through the Department for Transport's (DfT) Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) between 2012 and 2016. The appointed person will: • Deliver initiatives, events and activities to promote sustainable travel across Wokingham borough within new and existing residential areas, community groups and workplaces. • Monitor the success of different initiatives delivered to help shape future programme. • Deliver initiatives that are inclusive for all Wokingham residents.
