Forensic Testing Services

This service specification is for the Provision of Forensic Testing Services to include Drug, Alcohol and DNA Testing for Somerset Council. Under the statutory duties of the Children's Act 1989, the Council is required to promote the welfare of children. The Council must meet a range of statutory obligations to ensure that safeguarding decisions about children are made using high quality evidence suitable for the courts.
