Provision of Core Catering Services to Derby College Group - AWARD

The Derby College Group (DCG) is one of the largest FE Colleges in the country, offering an exciting and inspiring experiences to learners of all ages and abilities. Our growing range of cutting edge vocational and academic course open up a world of opportunity. Our outstanding facilities and expert staff provide a vibrant, stimulating and welcoming learning experience with a varied curriculum and comprehensive support activities. Our estate is large and diverse, made up of a number of Colleges and campuses spread across the Derby and Ilkeston areas. Details of our sites can be found on our website at www.derby-college.ac.uk, but briefly comprises of: o The Roundhouse - our flagship campus based just outside the centre of Derby. The site includes the grade II listed Roundhouse Building, along with the Stephenson, Hudson and Johnson Buildings. o Broomfield Hall - based in Morley, Ilkeston, Broomfield Hall is a beautiful and extensive working estate, which supports the land based, leisure, sport and public service sectors. o Ilkeston - designed to meet the needs of local employers and businesses, this community College is based in the centre of Ilkeston and supports learners in the surrounding areas. o Joseph Wright Centre - a sixth form College located in Derby's Cathedral Quarter, it is a bright, modern building built around an impressive central atrium. Each College campus has catering services and facilities to cater for the thousands of learners, employees, parents, contractors and visitors who pass through our doors every day. DCG currently contracts with an outsourced service provider for the provision of these catering services, however this contract expires on 31st July 2020, and we are therefore instigating this tender process to put in place a replacement long term contract for the delivery of core catering services to DCG.
