## Description

The Azure Monetary commitment is a pre-payment made to Microsoft for their Azure cloud services\. The forecast for Azure spend over the next 3 years has risen significantly compared to previous years due to the migration of various services to the cloud in support of Stonewater's IT strategy\. The following systems/services form the basis of the increased costs: • ASR - Disaster Recovery • Veeam Offsite Backup • Azure Virtual Desktop \(AVD\) • Azure Integration Services \(AIS\) Other services such as Sentinel/Defender, which are already covered through the pre-payment model, will continue to be supported and will contribute to the overall costs\.
