Provision of Basic Life Support & First Aid Learning The purpose of this contract is to design and deliver a tailored Basic Life Support (BLS) and related emergency response / First Aid at Work (FAW) skills learning programme for the contracting authority.

The aim of the programme is to equip staff to respond to an emergency situation, applying current evidence-based best practice approaches and techniques, in line with our policies and procedures and acknowledging our context, including available equipment and medication.

We require a programme addressing the range of skills and responsibilities across our workforce, as well as the variety of settings our staff work within. To ensure staff can explore relevant scenarios to aid retention, this contract is offered in 2 lots (Lot:1 First Aid at Work and Lot:2 Basic Life Support) and the contracting authority seek to commission distinct life support and first aid learning as detailed below.
