## Description

GMCA are seeking to provide a new HWRC facility at Reliance Street to improve recycling \\r rates, improve traffic management and provide improved waste segregation\. The existing \\r facility is an aging asset with a small and inefficient layout\. \\r The proposed development has been designed to ensure efficiency of movement from both \\r public and operational perspectives, from a public point of view, this means provision of \\r separate entrance and exit off Reliance Street and provision of double lane width around \\r the one-way system\. \\r This layout will improve access and traffic management particularly in higher volume \\r periods, allowing Suez to safely manage traffic during higher demand periods\. \\r \\r The scope of the works for related to the proposed HWRC includes, but is not limited to: \\r - Site establishment - accommodation, welfare and enabling works\. \\r - Site clearance works \\r - Demolition and removal of structures, slabs and services \\r - Ground works, all below ground construction and drainage activities \\r - Pilling works and structures, concrete works and surface finishes as per the tender \\r drawings and pilling details provided in Appendix D - Kellers Pilling Proposal \\r - Boundary fencing, railings, access stairs and barriers \\r - All white lining and pedestrian line colour markings and site signage\. \\r - Installation and integration of re-use shop and welfare building \(Reuse container and \\r welfare building to be supplied by GMCA\) \\r - Electrical, Lighting, CCTV and other service installations \\r - All required testing and commissioning \\r - Site De-mobilisation \\r - Project completion \\r \\r This will be advertised on: https://www\.the-chest\.org\.uk\\r
