Work description
The Government Property Agency (GPA), as part of its Government Estates Strategy 2018 remit to drive savings across the government estate, is looking to establish a number of multi-departmental offices in strategic regional locations (known as "Government Workplaces" or colloquially as "Hubs"). Relocating civil and public servants from existing, often fragmented locations, to modern, cross-departmental shared workplaces will make the most of emerging working practices, of which technology is a fundamental component. GPA required a strategic delivery partner to provide: Input to GPA's Strategic direction for Shared Network (LAN). Design, sourcing, implementation, testing and transition of support to GPA's Service Partner of a shared network across a number of sites UK wide. Management for the onboarding and full integration of all services to the Shared Network (LAN). This includes the landlord, other GPA suppliers and tenant services. Account and Delivery Management. Provide a scalable, technology agnostic solution that provides an appropriate set of technologies to reduce vendor lock-in as well as reducing dependence on a single vendor.
