Work description

The Troubled Families Programme aims to turn around the lives of families with multiple problems including crime, poor school attendance, anti-social behaviour, unemployment, and domestic violence and abuse. In doing so, the Programme aims to reduce the cost of these families to the public purse, including local authority budgets, welfare costs, the criminal justice system and the National Health Service.

The contract amendments relate to Lot 3, covering:

o Section A - A longitudinal family survey to collect family data not held in national administrative systems for a nationally representative sample of families;

o Section B - A longitudinal Troubled Families Coordinator survey to understand the characteristics of service transformation in local areas and how this changes during the lifetime of the programme.

The contract amendments cover the following:

a) changes to the staff survey with an additional value of £4,770 excluding VAT.

b) Converting reports into formats compatible with the current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) with an additional value of £2,962.50 excluding VAT.

Additional information: This Notice relates to contract amendments as set out in the description. This increases the value of the contract by £7,732.50(excluding VAT). The revised contract total is £855,812.50 (excluding VAT).
