## Description

Seeking to commission borough wide provision of community based targeted specific creative and sports activities which are co-delivered by specialist instructors and youth practitioners\. Four lots are available each worth up to 180K over 18 months\. Each lot will be for delivery of a specific creative or sports courses across at least two locations, each course should be at least 8 weeks long and multiple courses will be run over the 18 month period\. We expect the course to be attractive to a portion of our target population of 10-16 year olds\. We will expect to see a description of the component parts of the course with a session by session breakdown for each type of course offered\. The Big Lottery funded HeadStart programme is committed to the delivery of evidence based approaches which promote emotional resilience in 10-16 year olds at risk of developing mental health difficulties\. Subject to funding confirmation \(early June 2016\) we are seeking to commission borough wide provision of community based targeted specific creative and sports activities which are co-delivered by specialist instructors and youth practitioners\. Four lots will be available for delivery initially over 18 months \(Up to £180K/lot\) with potential for extension over further 3\.5 years\. For each lot, we are looking for providers who can deliver creative, exciting, and engaging courses for vulnerable 10-16 year olds in at least two locations across the borough\. Lisa Williams, Head of Commissioning Support at the National Charity YoungMinds, will deliver a session on resilience theory and how creative and sporting activities can be designed and delivered to promote resilience in young people aged 10-16\. There will also be a session from LBN Procurement setting out the tendering process and providing details on accessing our tendering system\.
