CPU 8533 Independent Adults Chair consultancy (LGR)

Description

The Consultant will provide additional specialist support to the Council in relation to Local Government Reorganisation, drawing on relevant experience of managing LGR and working in alignment with her existing role as Independent Chair. This support will include impartial strategic advice, professional expertise, support and challenge to senior leaders, and assistance with the planning, governance and delivery arrangements required to support Adults Services through the transition to any subsequent arrangements arising from Local Government Reorganisation. The Consultant will act as a critical friend on LGR-related matters, helping to ensure that Adults Services improvement activity, governance, risks, dependencies and transition requirements are aligned with the wider LGR programme. The Consultant will report on progress, issues and recommendations to senior leaders as required.
