ITEP1194 - Operational Services Transformation & Portfolio Enablement

The key aim of this proposal is to deliver the priority recommendations from the Operational Services diagnostic across four outcomes to support TMS.

This procurement looks at securing specialist advisory to support the embedment of the DS Operating model by leading the development of an Operational Service Portfolio Management Framework. The scope of this work is outcome-based, not the operational delivery of the framework.

This project requires consultancy to provide specialist capability in Op Model / Design. It does not represent staff substitution or fulfilment of an established NH role and will include knowledge transfer and documentation.

If this is service is not procured then Digital Services is at risk of not meeting all RIS3 YR1 outcomes and impacting changes to operational critical services.

By securing a short term solution this allows the core team to continue planning to build a 5 year strategic capability framework contract for DS Service Operations.
