In common with other Whitehall departments, we ensure our policies are promoted in the media, generating proactive coverage and protecting the reputation of the Authority and the wider Civil Service by responding to breaking news - handling journalists, rebutting inaccuracies and mistruths. It is therefore essential the Authority has access to a high quality, reliable press cuttings service, to give us urgent and early sight of all news stories relevant to the Department and our policies - including newspaper articles.
