## Description

The purpose of the FISP Scheme is to support industry and research collaborations to prepare full research proposals into Part B procurement tenders\. Part B contracts were given to consortiums of industry and research organisations to collect data that improves the knowledge of UK fisheries and aquaculture and their interaction with the marine environment and other marine species to support sustainable fisheries management\. This scheme will promote and strengthen collaboration between the fishing industry and research organisations to collect data that meets the objectives of the Fisheries Act 2020\.
