## Description

North Yorkshire Council's \(NYC\) Housing Standards Team is responsible for the management and control of legionella across approximately thirty-three \(33\) sites under the Housing Revenue Account\. These sites comprise a mix of Hostels, Independent Living Schemes, and Community Centres located within the Richmond, Harrogate, and Selby areas\. See Appendix 'A' for a map of the area covered\. As part of the Council's commitment to compliance, the Council wishes to procure the services a specialist Water Hygiene contractor to undertake Legionella Monitoring and Remedial works \(inclusive of travel time\) in North Yorkshire Council establishments, from September 2026\. This tender will be run as a Further Competition via the ESPO Framework 198\_25 - Water Systems - LOT 2 - Water Hygiene Monitoring Services \(WHM\)\. The contract will be for a minimum duration of two years, but with the option to extend the contract for a further two twelve months durations, in accordance with the conditions stated within the 198\_25 - Water System Risk Assessment and Water Hygiene Monitoring Services Framework Agreement Issue 2
