Work description
The Newspaper Licencing Authority (NLA) agreement forms part of the media monitoring service provided by News and External Communications to Defra Group. It allows us and senior people across the Group, including the Secretary of State, Permanent Secretary, Chief Executives and DGs access to relevant national and regional press and broadcast cuttings and clippings about the Group's activity. These contracts are used across government press offices and acknowledged to be critical in delivering efficient working practice, maintaining a firm grip on message management and providing ministers and the department with robust communications advice.
It allows us to keep Defra Group up to speed on how our messaging is landing publically both from proactively generated stories and reactive issues, as well as providing insight into potential reputational risks surfacing in the media.
Additional information: Please note that Defra procurement uses an E-tendering system for Procurement activities. This is currently provided by Bravo Solutions. To access appropriate tendering and contractual documents, please access the E-Tendering portal at https://defra.bravosolution.co.uk", ensuring that your registration includes "Defra".
