- Planing of the existing carriageway to the locations and depths identified in the drawings and specification appendices - Other than those to be utilised for ex situ cold recycling, road planings are to be taken to a suitably licenced facility for recycling under the appropriate EWC code (17 03 02) or for bituminous mixtures containing coal tar (17 03 01). Waste Transfer Notes must be completed and provided to the National Highways Environmental Team. - Provision of new surfacing as detailed in the drawings and specification - Testing and monitoring of newly laid surfacing in accordance with the Specification for Highway Works and any supplementary requirements identified in Appendix 7.
