The Catapult had a requirement for test equipment to that can perform power and temperature cycling tests on power electronic devices like MOSFETs and diodes\. To speed-up testing time, multiple devices should be tested simultaneously\. The equipment is for use in the high-power area of the power electronics lab, which forms part of the CSA Catapult innovation centre\. The centre is located in Newport, South Wales, United Kingdom\.
