Highways England has participated in the Streetwise Consortium for 12 years benefiting from knowledge share as well as gaining influence on European ITS developments and strategy that might impact Highways England's business and revenue. The Streetwise Consortium comprises representatives from DfT, Highways England, Welsh Government, Transport Scotland, Traffic Northern Ireland the Republic of Ireland and TfL. Highways England is seeking to contract with an experienced Consultant in this area who will support the Streetwise Consortium through its commitments and to additionally work through the implications of the UK's decision to leave the European Union.
