Supply of Public Order Riot Shields to HMPPS prison estate

Description

The Ministry of Justice would like to procure the supply of public order riot shields to the HMPPS estate. Public order shields are integral for the protection of prison officers and rioters and are used to prevent further escalation of disorder. The contract was awarded under the 001204 PPE Workwear, Uniform and Managed Services framework provided by the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation (YPO). The Framework enabled the MOJ to Direct Award to the supplier with the most economically advantageous tender (MEAT).
