## Description

The requirement is the refurbishment of outdoor courts and cricket practice nets at Arboretum Park Derby\. The outdoor courts and cricket practice nets were constructed as part of a series of improvements to the park carried out 2003 and are in need of refurbishment\. Two of the courts are laid with a sand-filled tufted grass carpet over a rubber shock-pad and are used exclusively for football with the third court laid to tarmac and used for football and basketball\. This contract related only to the two sand-filled grass courts\. The cricket nets are situated adjacent to the courts and require new surfacing, edging and repairs to the external fencing\.
