Nostell Bridge Repairs

Nostell Bridge is a five span masonry arch bridge carrying A638 Doncaster Road over lakes owned by Nostell Estates adjacent to Nostell Priory. The bridge is a Scheduled Ancient Monument and is Grade 2* listed.

The works comprise repair/refurbishment of the bridge: -

a) Traffic management. b) Site clearance including removal of vegetation. c) Cleaning of gullies. d) Raking out and re-pointing of masonry elements. e) Stonework repairs to a pilaster. f) Brickwork repairs. g) Repair of a parapet coping to wing wall following accident damage. h) Removal of graffiti. i) Maintenance painting of parapet railings.
