Soft Market Test for Over 50s Volunteering for Healthy Productive Ageing

Cornwall Council is conducting a soft market assessment to gain an understanding of the level of interest in the market for the delivery of a new programme of work aimed to engage people aged over 50 who are moving from work into retirement in formal volunteering opportunities as a way to support their health and wellbeing. This programme will support the development of public sector volunteering for this age group and develop opportunities that meet their needs, as well as identifying and addressing barriers experienced by underserved populations to encourage volunteering in this population.

It is intended that the responses supplied will enable the Council to further develop the specification. This is not a formal tender document.

Participation in this soft market assessment will not prejudice suppliers participating in any future procurement.
