The consultant will be expected to draft reports based on their findings, undertake compelled and PACE interviews, draft witness statements, support the team by utilising their specialist knowledge as a solicitor, assist with disclosure, clearly articulate the implications of the evidence examined, and recommend further investigative steps (if any) required to meet the objectives of the team.
