Commercial Services Leased Vehicles

Description

The University has a requirement to lease, two transit vans that can tow 2-tonnes. This is required for the catering team, so they have the equipment and trailer to move around the campus. The approved process for this procurement was to use the Crown Commercial Services RM6268 Framework Agreement via the Fleet Portal, Lot 1 Leasing, which is an easy compliant solution to obtain quotes to lease standard build commercial vehicles. This process allowed the University to generate and compare three real-time quotes quickly and easily, compare the choice of vehicle side by side, including environmental options, review a breakdown of costs and compare manufacturers whole life costs. A real-time quotation process took place, and further conversation was had with each provider to get clarify on additional costs for bespoke University needs. The quotes were then updated and reviewed. The two lease cars that the University has deemed most suitable are: 1 x Nissan Interstar F33 L2 Diesel 2.0 Acenta Van. 1 x Toyota Proace City L1 Electric Icon Van 50kWh Auto.
