Work description
**This is not a call for competition, this is a direct award via CR15025 Research & Evaluation Framework Lot 1**
The aim of this project is to understand the student perspective on how the UKRI studentship costed extension policy is:
• being implemented on the ground across different universities and research organisations o how was the policy communicated to students? o What process did they put in place to ensure eligible students can request an extension? o What timescales for decisions did they use for their process? • impacting their training and wellbeing o including the steps Research Organisations are taking to help students re-programme their study and thesis outcomes so that further funding is not required • affecting different demographic groups of students in different ways It will inform wider considerations of the impact of this policy on different demographic groups and sit alongside consultative work with other stakeholder groups.
