## Description

The Environmental Pollution Programme is a UK Official Development Assistance \(ODA\) programme funded by the UK's Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs \(Defra\) and delivered by JNCC\. The programme is currently undertaking a series of multi-year projects in South Africa researching a range of issues and how they impact on local communities\. The aim of this element of the work is to supply a mobile laboratory that can support the projects by providing a resource for accessing sites, sample processing, outreach activities and the safe returning of biological samples to host institutions\.
