Overall Programme Objectives

The objective of the overall programme is to deliver improved transparency and accountability for extractives, and strengthened capacity of key institutions. Together these will ensure that governments manage extractives better to deliver economic development and reduce poverty.

The Resource Hub will improve capacity to manage extractives: High quality advice to host governments on how to improve extractives management along the natural resource value chain will be provided in a coordinated way by international partners. As one subcomponent contributing to the overall RTPEED programme, the Resource Hub will both link to and inform other RTPEED components as well as wider programming.
