Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) elemental analysis system

This is a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice, indicating that The University of Leeds intends to enter into a contract with Hitachi Hi-Tech to purchase a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) elemental analysis system. The requirement is funded by the EPSRC. Under the terms of the funding it is a mandatory requirement that the equipment will be fully delivered on or before 31st March 2025. Hitachi High-Tech are the only vendor who can meet this deadline.
