## Description

Following a review of the University's Endowment Investment Policy, the University of Bristol has decided to seek tenders from specialist managers for the management of its endowment portfolio which has a value of approximately £60M\. Potential managers of the portfolio would be expected to invest in line with best practice in terms of corporate governance and the University's Endowment Investment Policy\. The University places a premium on the service it receives from its suppliers and the managers of the portfolio would be expected to provide a high quality of service and develop a close working relationship with the University\. Potential managers of the portfolio would be expected to have experience of managing funds from charities\. The initial contract period is 5 years plus up to another 5 years if the options to extend are exercised\.
