Description
South Cambridgeshire District Council (SCDC and also referred to as "the Council") is leading on a joint procurement exercise for a new Commercial Waste Management System with Cambridge City Council (CCC). Huntingdonshire District Council (HDC) whist not involved in this procurement will be able to access this contract at their discretion. \r \r SCDC operates a shared waste service on behalf of SCDC and CCC. This involves the collection and administration of household and commercial waste across the districts of Cambridge City and South Cambridgeshire. \r \r Currently we operate a 7 day collection service for commercial waste. At this time we are using a product called Alloy, supplied by Causeway. Due to the limitations of that system the Councils are looking to buy a new product for the commercial waste service. The purpose is to improve the service to our customers and expand our customer base\r \r Should you be interested in this opportunity, the full set of tender documents can be found on our e-tendering portal, where bidders will also be able to submit their bids, via the following link: https://procontract.due-north.com/Advert?advertId=6c68b1d3-899b-ef11-8132-005056b64545
