TETI0003 Quantifying the future hydrogen demand for upgrading biofuels (DfT)

The Department has a vision for a transport system that is an engine for economic growth, but is also greener, safer and a contributor to improved quality of life in our communities. One of the Departments' objectives is to develop a strategy to decarbonise transport and minimise more generally transport's impact on the environment. This project will explore the use of hydrogen in upgrading biofuels to assess the likely quantity of hydrogen required to upgrade aviation and drop-in fuels.
