Hot Rolled Asphalt Surfacing Burnley Pendle Growth Corridor M65 J13

Location: The site is situated off the M65 Junction 13 the majority off the work is around the roundabout. The area around M65 Junction 13 roundabout road ties into the various exit routes.

The successful subcontractor will provide and lay 6,000m² of the HRA material and chippings to Clause 943; the specifications and details are attached.

In addition profile planing of 1500m² will be required to a maximum 50mm depth. The planing area must be made safe for traffic use prior to the road being re-opened at the end of each shift.

There may be some regulating required, using HRA material. Night working restrictions will operate 2300hours to 0500hours, where the junction will be closed to public traffic. All ironworks will be carried out by LCC.
