Work description
PHE has awarded a contract to Oxford Nanopore Technology Ltd under Lot2 of the PHE Microbiology framework for the provision of purchase of Gridion Sequencing platform in order to support the COG UK consortium and COVID incident. The instrument can process both low and high sample number batches using long read sequencing thus providing flexibility in order to respond to the SarsCov2 pandemic. It is Nationwide contract.
