National Highways' Chief Analyst's Division (CAD) provides specialist analytical insights across the company on transport planning, performance analysis, evaluation and economics. CAD is responsible for ensuring decisions are based on fit for purpose analysis across the company. This analysis must drive value for money and decision making while enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. As CAD supports the development of National Highways' third Road Investment Strategy, the division has ambitious plans to develop the analytical approach for the strategy. CAD must continue to deliver professional analytical advice and products, establish a statistics service, embed appropriate standards, and effectively communicate analysis across the business.
