ANCHOR PIPEWORK LIMITED

This temporary equipment was installed under emergency measures to maintenance the operation of the Southern Data Centre when the outside air temperature exceeded 36 degrees C. This equipment is still required to give additional resilience to the data centre until such time as the existing equipment is replaced. The existing contract is with Anchor Pipework Ltd and this is an extension to this contract. Competitive tender action for this provision would incur approx. £10k to 15k additional costs to remove the existing temporary system and approx. 2 weeks disruption to the data centre while replacing the temporary system with one provided by a new supplier.
