LGT - Provision of Transport Consultants to support Master Plan Development

Lewisham and Greenwich Trust are seeking to commission consultants to support the wider development of masterplans for both the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and University Hospital Lewisham (UHL) sites. This will tie into reports and plans that are being delivered by the Trusts architects and planning consultants.

The requirement is to produce robust transport strategy advice to inform the emerging masterplans for each site. This should cover:

• Our understanding of future car parking need at both sites (including a review of envisaged car use and ownership trends locally);

• A review of the public transport accessibility context for both sites (both currently and in the future);

• Confirmation of the number of car parking spaces required at each site in the future (and where best to locate these).

The Trust may require consultants to assist in more strategic travel planning for the trust in general.

This procurement is being advertised at an estimated value of £25,000 however the Trust is running a below Public Contracts Regulation Tender. The Trust reserves the right to procure additional services are needed following the initial production of reports, through the successful supplier up to the relevant threshold within PCR 2015.
