West Kent wishes to commission: 1. A review of current and future demand: a. Around our current older people properties to ascertain current and future demand. b. In Kent more widely to understand where there is significant future demand for older people's housing. 2. The provider to create a stock analysis tool to assess each of our current older people's properties against. This will include but not be limited to: demand; service provision; location and nearby amenities; physical attributes of scheme; communal facilities and financial viability 3. The provider to highlight best practice in our offer to older people in our General Needs stock and recommend potential improvements. 4. Wider best practice in older people's accommodation.
