Work description
Kent County Council wishes to commission a provider who would be responsible to facilitate the establishment of a Lived Experience Recovery Organisation/Service (LERO) to support Drug and Alcohol services within the boundary of Kent County Council. A LERO is an organisation or service primarily made up of people with lived experience in relation to the subject matter, in this case, experience of drug and alcohol treatment and recovery services and/or having a drug and alcohol support need. It is imperative that past, present and future service users have the opportunity to help shape and design Drug and Alcohol service delivery within Kent, to improve quality and reduce barriers for individuals to be able to access Drug and Alcohol treatment services. The LERO will play a central role in meeting this need.
