Identity Verification Solution for the West of England Mobility as a Service

As part of the MaaS project, a need to integrate an ID verification provider, to enable driving licence, address and ID checks for customers intending to use bike, e-scooter and car hire/share services has been identified.

A form of identify (ID) verification is needed when using some form of transport service, including:

1. When hiring an e-scooter, a driving licence verification is required to meet legal requirements.

2. When hiring a Brompton Bike, an address and ID check is required to meet Brompton's business and insurance requirements.

3. When hiring a car, or using a car club service, an address, ID and driving licence check is required to meet business, insurance, and legal requirements.
