ESPH SB Hastings Town Investment Fund - Phase 2 (ESHP452 TI) - AWARD

Hastings Borough Council (HBC) wished to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultancy or multi-disciplinary team to support the continued development of our Town Investment proposals to the Government.

The Government launched the Towns Fund programme in November 2019 with the aim of driving economic regeneration and delivering long term economic and productivity growth. Hastings is one of only 101 towns eligible to bid for up to £25 million from the Towns Fund, with HBC designated as the lead organisation (accountable body) for managing the development of the Town Deal, including the Town Investment Plan. The Town Investment Plan has now been assessed by government and up to £24.3m of funding has been allocated

This commission will be to take lead on the drafting and development of up to nine full business cases and provide support to develop up to a further five business cases for Stage 2 of the Hastings Town Investment Plan process.
