Work description
North Lincolnshire Council invites tenders for the delivery of a transformational Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) Service and the associated booking and scheduling provision. The Authority is seeking to appoint a Provider for a five-year concession contract under the Concession Contracts Regulations 2016 with an option to extend for a further period or periods of up to five years. The Provider will develop and build upon the existing DRT provision and take it to a "new level", with marketing and promotions that engage with and encourage public transport take up from groups who have previously not used or considered using public transport. The Authority is seeking to commission the very latest technology to enable the very best route scheduling and vehicle utilisation thus maintaining the highest levels of connectivity.
