Supported Accommodation for Younger Adults in North Nottinghamshire

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking tenders for the provision of a low level, short term, supported accommodation service in North Nottinghamshire (Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark & Sherwood and Bassetlaw areas). This contract replaces existing service contracts which are expiring. The tender is for the provision of a support only contract, but that support will be delivered to people living in specific, designated units of accommodation. The Provider will support people aged 18 and over who have a Learning Disability, Mental Health condition, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or a Physical Disability, in a minimum of 62 units of accommodation. They will work with them to achieve a more stable lifestyle and develop the necessary independent living skills and confidence to sustain independent accommodation on a long term basis. It is anticipated that people will remain in the Service for not more than 6 months.
