GB-Manchester: ACE 544 ITT - DATA FOR ENGLISH PUBLIC LIBRARIES- DISCOVERY PHASE

There is a need to create an options appraisal and strategic case for the development, delivery and ongoing management/maintenance of a public libraries data platform. The Arts Council are looking to contract a partner to develop a set of options and strategic proposals that will allow the sector support organisations and central government to understand the scale of the issue/the current position, give a defined set of potential sources, processes and governance for data and establish frameworks and compliance for their collection, storage and interrogation. The successful contractor will lead on the strategic planning, creation and appraisal of a range of options that would allow for the development, implementation and sustainable delivery of an open data platform for English public library data.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
